Transfer gossip: Brentford among clubs linked with Arsenal’s Bielik

Some of the latest transfer speculation involving Brentford…

Brentford are among Championship clubs being linked with Arsenal youngster Krystian Bielik.

The Sun have picked up on reports in the midfielder’s native Poland claiming that he is wanted by the Bees, Derby County, West Brom and Middlesbrough.

It is claimed that Arsenal want £10m for Bielik, who was on loan at Charlton last season and helped the Addicks win promotion from League One via the play-offs.

Palace want Watkins swap deal, May say

Crystal Palace hope to persuade Brentford to part with Ollie Watkins by offering Alexander Sorloth as part of the deal, according to the Daily Mail.

West London Sport revealed last year that Palace were among Premier League clubs showing an interest in Watkins.

The Mail say Palace want a player-plus-cash deal involving forward Sorloth, who has failed to impress for the Eagles.

Sorloth previously played for Danish club FC Midtjylland, of which Brentford owner Matthew Benham is the majority shareholder.
