Brentford star set to begin contract talks
Brentford are set to begin talks with Clayton Donaldson over a new contract.
The 29-year-old striker’s current deal expires at the end of the season and he was linked with a move away from Griffin Park last summer.
Bees chief executive Mark Devlin insisted in July that the club were not interested in selling last season’s top goalscorer.
And Donaldson he will soon be offered a new deal, having continued his impressive form this term.
The former Hibernian, York and Hull City forward signed for Brentford from this Saturday’s opponents Crewe in 2011 and has since scored 35 league goals.
