Transfer gossip: Chelsea eyeing Brentford’s Diouf, story claims

Brentford left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf has been linked with Chelsea and Liverpool.

It is claimed by D Sports in Diouf’s native Senegal, as noted by Sport Witness, that both clubs have made contact with the 21-year-old’s representatives.

The report says any move would be more likely to come next summer than in January.

Diouf only joined Brentford from West Ham at the end of August and he has made eight appearances for the Bees, six of them in the Premier League.

The Senegal international is under contract at Brentford until 2031, with the option of a further year.
