Cardiff come from behind to win at Brentford

Promotion-chasing Cardiff came from behind to win at Griffin Park.

Brentford made the perfect start, with Neal Maupay putting them ahead after just five minutes.

Sergi Canos sent him through on goal and Maupay showed great composure to fire home.

But the Bluebirds hit back with goals from Sol Bamba, Callum Paterson and Kenneth Zohore.

Bamba equalised on 26 minutes when he turned a sent a cracking strike into the corner of the net following a corner.

And a goal by Patterson, who fired home from 12 yards out on the stroke of half-time, was all-important.

Zohore netted 13 minutes into the second half, scuffing the ball in from close range to seal victory for Neil Warnock’s side.
