Brentford’s Clarke joins Burton on loan

Josh Clarke has joined Burton Albion on loan from Brentford.

Clarke, 24, will spend the rest of the season with the League One club and is expected to make his debut against Gillingham on Saturday.

He told Burton’s website: “I’m looking to get some minutes, help the team and get three points at the weekend.

“I want to help myself get back to me being the person I am, which is getting the ball, running at defenders and adding a bit of quality to the team.

“The lads here are brilliant and team spirit is right up there and I’m here to help the team get to the play-offs.”
