Sorensen and Wissa back for Brentford

Mads Bech Sorensen has been passed fit to return to first-team action for Brentford and Yoane Wissa will also rejoin the squad for Sunday’s match against Everton.

Bees boss Thomas Frank confirmed on Friday morning that Wissa will be among the substitutes this weekend and that defender Sorensen is available again.

Wissa has been out with an ankle injury since October’s 2-1 victory at West Ham, where he scored a stoppage-time winner.

Sorensen, meanwhile, has been out since suffering medial knee ligament damage against Forest Green in the EFL Cup in August.

Frank also confirmed that Zanka will “most likely” sit out Sunday’s game although he has returned to training.

But Mathias Jensen, who missed last Saturday’s 3-3 draw at Newcastle after testing positive for Covid-19, is back in the squad.
