Lewis-Potter out of England U21 squad with injury

Keane Lewis-Potter has not linked up with the England Under-21 squad this week because of a “minor” knock.

The Brentford attacker missed the 3-0 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday due to what boss Thomas Frank labelled a “minor injury”.

“We will know a little bit more about it after the international break,” Frank added.

“Hopefully he will be back soon.”

Lewis-Potter was named in boss Lee Carsley’s original 25-man England Under-21 squad for the games against Italy and Germany, but has since been withdrawn.

The 21-year-old joined the Bees from Hull City this summer for a fee which could rise to £20m – a club record – and has played six times in all competitions this season, scoring once.
