Maupay: Bees could make the play-offs

Striker Neal Maupay tells West London Sport he believes Brentford can still make the play-offs.

Maupay was speaking after the 5-1 hammering of Hull City at Griffin Park, where he scored his 22nd goal of the season and Said Benrahma netted a hat-trick.

The Bees are 16th in the table, 10 points play-off places, but Maupay believes a top-six finish is not out of the question.

Maupay said: “We can still believe on the play-offs. Obviously we are far, but who knows – we won’t give up, that’s the main thing.

“Even though we are far, we believe we can make it. As long as we can still make it we will fight and try to make it happen.”
