Brentford pick up point in turgid stalemate at Leeds
Leeds 0
Brentford 0
Brentford picked up a point in an uneventful game at Elland Road, where both sides struggled to create chances.
Mikkel Damsgaard was unable to shake off an injury in time to play – and his guile was certainly missed by the Bees.
But they defended well against a determined Leeds team, especially when under pressure late on, and are still very much in the running for a European place.
Keith Andrews’ side are seventh in the Premier League table going into the international break, three points behind fifth-placed Liverpool and five behind fourth-placed Aston Villa.
Brentford’s next two league games, against Everton on 11 April and Fulham seven days later, are both at home.
