Brentford midfielder Ryan Woods has signed a contract extension that will keep him at Griffin Park until at least the summer of 2020.

The 22-year-old joined the Bees from Shrewsbury on last summer’s transfer deadline day for an undisclosed fee, and had two years left to run on his original deal.[phone][/phone]

Woods made 43 league appearances for Brentford last season, scoring spectacular long-range goals at Reading and MK Dons.

He has also featured in every Championship game so far this season.
