Brentford keen to sign Czech Republic international

Brentford are hoping to conclude a deal for Czech Republic international Filip Novak before the transfer window closes.

The 27-year-old full-back plays for Danish club FC Midtjylland, who like Brentford are owned by Matthew Benham.

The Bees are making their move for Novak after agreeing a fee to sell Maxime Colin to Championship rivals Birmingham City, who have also signed Harlee Dean and Jota.
