Brentford are interested in signing Hamburg defender Josha Vagnoman.
The Germany Under-21 international is primarily a right-back but can also operate at left-back or in midfield.
Vagnoman, 20, has been targeted by the Bees as a potential replacement for Henrik Dalsgaard, who left the club this summer.
A product of Hamburg’s academy, Vagnoman made 24 appearances in the German second tier last season.
Brentford have been tracking him for some time and are now looking to agree a deal to bring him to west London.
