Brentford hit seven against Eintracht Frankfurt in friendly
New signing Mamadou Sangaré scored as Brentford beat Eintracht Frankfurt 7-0 in a totally one-sided pre-season friendly.
Igor Thiago and Kevin Schade both scored twice and there were also goals for Dango Ouattara and Keane Lewis-Potter as the Bees limbered up for the new campaign in impressive fashion.
Schade scored the opener from close range, Sangaré’s half-volley from near the edge of the penalty area made it 2-0, and Thiago added the third before half-time with a tap-in after being teed up by Schade.
The hosts continued to dominate after the interval, with Ouattara firing in at the near post after being set up by Michael Kayode, Lewis-Potter’s left-footed curler making it 5-0, Thiago scoring after being set up by Mathias Jensen, and Schade tucking away Thiago’s cross.
