Pinnock plays in behind closed doors friendly

Ethan Pinnock played 80 minutes of a behind closed doors friendly against Reading as he closes in on a return to first-team action.

The Brentford defender has missed the entire season so far due to a knee injury.

But the 29-year-old looks set to return to the first-team squad following the international break after featuring in a 1-1 draw against the Championship club.

First-team players Mads Roerslev, Josh Dasilva, Shandon Baptiste and Zanka were also involved as Alex Gilbert scored a second-half equaliser to cancel out Yakou Meite’s opener.
