Brentford confirm Field’s new deal

Brentford have confirmed that teenage left-back Tom Field has signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract.

The 19-year-old academy product has recently broken into the first team, featuring in the win over Bristol City and the Bees’ defeat at Leeds.[phone][/phone]

Field made his debut at the end of last season, which led to talks over a new two-year deal during the summer.

Those discussions were shelved, but Field has now signed a contract at Griffin Park until 2020.
