Brentford assessing Henry hamstring injury

Brentford are assessing a hamstring injury suffered by Rico Henry during the goalless draw at Bournemouth.

Henry had to be taken off midway through the first half and was in obvious pain.

It was a blow for the Bees as they are already without injured full-back Aaron Hickey.

Head coach Keith Andrews is hoping the injury to Henry is not overly serious.

Andrews said: “It’s a hamstring strain. His performances have been of such a high level. It was a shame we lost him so early in the game, and hopefully it’s nothing too serious.”
