Bonham signs deal and makes loan move

Jack Bonham has signed a new Brentford contract and joined Carlisle on a six-month loan.

West London Sport revealed in May that the Bees keeper was being lined up for a loan move because he wants more first-team games, with Carlisle the most keen.

The 23-year-old was about to enter the final year of his contract but has now extended it until 2019.

He made just two appearances last season and has managed only seven in total since joining the Bees on a free transfer from Watford in 2013.
