Bidwell happy to be staying at Brentford

Jake Bidwell remains convinced Brentford is the best place for him at this stage of his career.

The Everton full-back has extended his month-by-month loan deal at Griffin Park and is expected to stay for the rest of the season.

“I want to carry on here at Brentford – it’s the best place for me,” Bidwell told West London Sport.

“I’m playing every week and I want to stay in the team. The manager has shown a lot of faith in me and I want to stay so I can repay that faith.

“I don’t think I’ve hit the form yet that I did last season and I want to do that here.”

He added: “The month-by-month thing is just the way Everton have always dealt with it. I haven’t got a problem with it. I’ll just crack on.”
