Chris Mepham is expected to be fit for Brentford’s game against Bristol City.
The centre-back withdrew from the Wales squad, missing their matches against Spain and the Republic of Ireland.
But the Bees’ new head coach Thomas Frank said: “It’s definitely the plan for him to play.
“He trained fully (on Thursday) so I expect and hope he will be ready for Saturday.”
