Bees looking to snap up Oxford United youngster

Brentford are looking to tie up a deal to sign Oxford United youngster Canice Carroll.

The 19-year-old is primarily a defender but can also play in midfield.

Carroll, who has played for the Republic of Ireland at Under-17 level, has been watched by a number of clubs.

He has made 15 league appearances for Oxford since breaking into their first team.
