Moroccan striker Farid El Alagui has opened talks with Brentford ahead of a possible move to Griffin Park.
The 27-year-old is available on a Bosman free transfer this summer as his contract with Falkirk expires.
A number of clubs have been monitoring El Alagui, who scored 27 goals last season and was named the Scottish First Division player of the year.
Aberdeen have expressed an interest but he is believed to be keen on a move to England.
El Alagui joined Falkirk on a 12-month deal last year after impressing during a trial.
