Bees confirm signing of striker El Alagui

Brentford have confirmed the signing of Moroccan striker Farid El Alagui.

West London Sport reported last month that the 27-year-old, who scored 27 goals for Falkirk last season, was discussing a move to Griffin Park.

El Alagui, who has agreed a two-year contract, was available on a Bosman free transfer after deciding not to sign a new deal with the Scottish outfit.

Aberdeen are among the clubs to have shown an interest in him but he was keen to move south of the border.

He joined Falkirk on a 12-month deal last year after impressing during a trial.
