Bees closing in on signing of Danish midfielder Jensen

Brentford are closing in on the signing of Danish midfielder Mathias Jensen from Celta Vigo.

The 23-year-old moved to Spain last year from FC Nordsjælland, where he was a team-mate of Emiliano Marcondes.[phone]

He is now set to join Marcondes at Brentford, who recently clinched the signing of defender Pontus Jansson from Leeds.

Jensen was named in Denmark’s preliminary 35-man squad for the 2018 World Cup but did not make the final 23.
