Bees closing in on signing of Danish midfielder Jensen

Brentford are closing in on the signing of Danish midfielder Mathias Jensen from Celta Vigo.

The 23-year-old moved to Spain last year from FC Nordsjælland, where he was a team-mate of Emiliano Marcondes.

He is now set to join Marcondes at Brentford, who recently clinched the signing of defender Pontus Jansson from Leeds.

Jensen was named in Denmark’s preliminary 35-man squad for the 2018 World Cup but did not make the final 23.
