Bees boss keen to protect Forrester

Brentford manager Uwe Rosler is keen to avoid midfield prospect Harry Forrester suffering burnout.

The talented youngster has been watched by a number of clubs but recently vowed to stay at Griffin Park until at least the end of the season

He is likely to come under the spotlight when the Bees face Chelsea in the FA Cup this weekend, which Rosler insists “will not affect his game.”

And Rosler added: “You have to analyse Harry’s last 10 games. Harry still has to come a long way in my opinion – he still has a long way to go to play three games in a week at a high level.

“Physically he is still developing – he is not like Jake Bidwell, who can play every three days.

“Last Tuesday against Southend was by far Harry’s best game, but we have to accept he can’t be a match-winner for us in every game.”
