Bean expecting to leave Brentford

Marcus Bean is resigned to leaving Brentford at the end of the season.

The former QPR midfielder, who joined the Bees in 2008, is coming to the end of his contract at Griffin Park.

Bean, 27, says he has not been offered a new deal and expects to move elsewhere.

“I haven’t been made an offer. It looks likely that I’ll be leaving in the summer,” he told West London Sport.

“I’ve been a Brentford player for four years, the fans have been great to me and I want to finish the season on a high – on a personal note and for the club.

“There’s nothing on the table for me at the moment, and obviously it’s up to the club to approach me. I’d be happy to stay.”
