QPR told by tribunal to pay Reading for Mbengue
A tribunal has ordered QPR to pay Reading for Amadou Mbengue.
The defender, 24, moved to Loftus Road last summer after his Royals contract expired.
Reading, who signed him on a free transfer from French outfit Metz in 2022, were entitled to a compensation payment.
With the two clubs unable to reach an agreement, a fee was set by a Professional Football Compensation Committee tribunal – and is understood to be slightly less than the £350,000 Rangers offered Reading during the summer.
Mbengue has made 36 appearances for the R’s this season.
