Transfer deadline day began with much speculation surrounding the futures of several Chelsea players.

They include Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has again attracted interest from Bayern Munich amid speculation that Chelsea could allow him to leave on loan.

Some reports have suggested that a deal is close – or has even been agreed – for Hudson-Odoi to move to Germany.

However, The Sun declare that Hudson-Odoi will be staying at Stamford Bridge.

The newspaper say Chelsea will keep the winger, with Bayern having decided to sign Douglas Costa from Juventus instead.

Declan Rice continues to be linked with a move to Chelsea ahead of the deadline.

The Daily Star claim West Ham are braced for a Blues bid for the England international during the final hours of the transfer window.

Meanwhile, Fulham are keen to bring in a centre-back ahead of the deadline.

And the Daily Telegraph reports that talks have opened over a loan deal for Lyon’s Joachim Andersen and that Fulham are also looking to tie up the signing of Barcelona’s Jean-Clair Todibo.
