Ian Holloway plans to make changes for QPR’s EFL Cup second-round clash with Brentford on Tuesday.

Holloway’s side continued their encouraging start to the season by coming from behind to beat Hull on Saturday.

And the Rangers manager is now hoping a number of his squad players will take their chance to impress in the west London derby.

“I will have to play some different players and I want our fans to understand that,” he said.

“I don’t want them (Brentford) to have the ball. We’re going to close them and press them and see if they can play around us.

“I think we’re a different animal now, so hopefully I’ll give someone else a chance to have a go and we can keep this going.”

Midfielders Ariel Borysiuk and Ryan Manning are in line to start, while Steven Caulker, who played against Northampton in the previous round, could also feature.
