Former Fulham star Clark wants manager’s job

Former Fulham midfielder Lee Clark is interested in becoming the club’s new manager.

Whites chief football officer Mike Rigg is leading the search for Kit Symons’ replacement.

In an interview with TalkSport, Clark, who played for Fulham between 1999 and 2005, said he would be “absolutely delighted” if he was given the job.

He has been out of work since leaving Blackpool in May, and previously managed Huddersfield and Birmingham.

Uwe Rosler, the former Brentford manager who left Leeds last month, is among those Fulham have considered.

Former Leicester boss Nigel Pearson is the favourite, particularly after Paul Lambert – another on Fulham’s shortlist – was appointed by Blackburn Rovers.
