Fulham absorbed first-half pressure at the Riverside Stadium, where Albert Adomah came close to giving Middlesbrough the lead.

Adomah nudged the ball against the inside of the post after being found by Ryan Fredericks’ cross.

Having won their last three matches under caretaker boss Kit Symons, Fulham are unchanged from the midweek thrashing of Bolton.

Boro are without on-loan Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford, who misses out because of illness.
