Bees fear Colin could miss rest of the season

Brentford full-back Maxime Colin could miss the rest of the season if he requires surgery on his groin injury.

The Frenchman had been managing the problem but it flared up after the defeat by Derby last month.

He missed the next two matches, against Wolves and Rotherham, and will not be fit to face Charlton on Saturday.

Colin has seen a specialist and undergone a course of injections to try to avoid having an operation.

Alan McCormack, who has not played for the Bees since the FA Cup defeat against Walsall in January, could be in contention for a place on the bench against the Addicks.

Scott Hogan, who scored this week on his return to action after 18 months out, will continue his comeback by playing again for the development side on Monday.
