Record-breaker Easter agrees Quins deal

Nick Easter has agreed a two-year extension to his Harlequins contract, on the eve of his 250th appearance for the club.

The 36-year-old former England back row will extend the Quins’ appearance record when he starts against Leicester Tigers at the Stoop on Saturday.

The match is a third home sell-out in four, with 14,800 fans set to pack out the ground to witness Easter’s latest landmark.

And the veteran number eight has said a deal is in place to keep him at the club until at least the age of 38.

Quins are boosted by the return of England captain Chris Robshaw, who has missed the last five weeks with a shoulder injury, while club skipper Joe Marler is also fit again.

They are among seven changes to the starting line-up which faced London Welsh last week.

Ben Botica makes his first Premiership start since September after his comeback from injury as a replacement last week, while Mike Brown, Ugo Monye, Danny Care and Kyle Sinckler are all back in the side.
