Harlequins’ Robshaw out for three months

Harlequins star Chris Robshaw has been ruled out for most of the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his shoulder injury.

The 30-year-old aggravated an existing shoulder problem at Worcester on New Year’s Day and had an operation on Monday.

Quins said Robshaw would likely be out of competitive action for three months.

It means the England flanker will miss the whole of his country’s defence of their Six Nations crown, while a return date of mid-April would mean he is available for only the last three or four Premiership games.
