Transfer gossip: Speculation over the futures of Green and McCormack

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving the area’s Championship clubs…

Crystal Palace and French club Bordeaux have enquired about QPR keeper Rob Green, the Daily Mirror claim.

West London Sport recently revealed that Rangers were looking to offload the 35-year-old because of a clause in his contract that would entitle him to a new deal were he to make five more appearances this season.

Palace did make an enquiry soon afterwards and Green has also been linked with the likes of Liverpool and West Ham.

The Mirror say Palace have lined him up as a possible replacement for Julian Speroni, who could join Reading.

The Championship promotion chasers recently made offers for the Fulham striker, who has since requested a transfer.

And The Times say Boro could return their attention to McCormack after scrapping a proposed move for Blackburn’s Jordan Rhodes.

Moussa Dembele’s proposed move from Fulham to Tottenham is off, according to reports.

The two clubs recently agreed a fee in the region of £5m and Dembele was due to undergo a medical.

Sky Sports News HQ say the Whites have insisted that Dembele return to Craven Cottage on loan for the rest of the season but Spurs refused.

Reports in the Netherlands claim Fulham have agreed a loan deal for Sporting Lisbon striker Zakaria Labyad.

The 22-year-old Dutch-born Morocco international is said to only need to pass a medical to complete the move.

Meanwhile, Brighton midfielder Rohan Ince has been linked with a move to Craven Cottage by The Argus.
