Frank says there’s no chance he could be lured away from Brentford

Brentford: Thomas Frank

Thomas Frank says there is no chance of him being lured away to another club this season, even if a top-flight side comes calling for his services.

The Dane is quietly building a sound reputation in maintaining Brentford’s presence among the dark horses of the Championship in recent seasons. It is not beyond the realms of possibility that a good start to the campaign might bring the temptation of offers.

But the 45-year-old ex-Brondby coach says the current project totally captivates him – along with the prospect of leading his team into a new era in a new stadium next season.

“I would say I’m so committed to Brentford this season,” said Frank when asked how he would feel if another club made an approach for him.

“You know, the last season at Griffin Park, going into a new stadium, everything is so interesting so I would say ‘Sorry, call me in three years’ time.’

“I’ve just been to visit the new ground and it’s looking amazing.

“ In football, it’s very very difficult to find places like Brentford – the unique togetherness, the top strategy that we have and a clear plan, and calmness. You don’t find that in a lot of places.

“I would say I’m very pleased and very humble to be here and I can only see myself being here.”
