Rangers youngsters see off Leeds United

QPR’s development side maintained their impressive start to the season by beating Leeds United 2-1 on Monday afternoon.

Reece Grego-Cox opened the scoring in the game at Leeds’ Thorp Arch training ground with an early goal and Frankie Sutherland doubled the lead with a penalty following a foul on Jordan Gibbons.

Brian Montegro pulled a goal back for Leeds but R’s keeper Joe Lumley produced two good saves as the visitors hung on.

Steve Gallen’s team have now won five matches in a row and are unbeaten in seven.
