QPR youngsters to discover fate

A number of QPR’s youngsters will be told in the coming days whether they are being retained by the club.

Rangers’ second-year scholars will discover if they are to be released or handed a professional contract at Loftus Road.

Head of youth development Steve Gallen will give the players the news after discussions with manager Mark Hughes.

Gallen’s Under-18 side clinched the Youth Alliance South-East Conference title with a 3-0 victory over Peterborough on Saturday.
