Swansea took advantage of QPR’s generosity to beat them 3-1 at Loftus Road. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player.
Left exposed at key times. Produced a smart save in the first half to tip away an effort from Bersant Celina.
Lively getting forward from right-back and almost scored with a misdirected cross which hit the bar.
Dragged out of position on the odd occasion but was generally solid.
His distribution from the back and aerial presence in both boxes are assets for Rangers but he is prone to silly mistakes and a daft challenge led to a penalty and the game swinging away from his team just after they had equalised and were in the ascendancy.
A decent showing at left-back and his set-piece deliveries have cushioned the blow of losing Luke Freeman during the summer.
Useful on the ball before being taken off but Swansea found it easy to play around the veteran midfielder when breaking forward at pace.
Still young and adapting to Championship football, but Rangers were vulnerable in deep midfield areas Smith was brought in to add bite in. He does the basics well but will need to offer more.
Always looked a threat. Lacks finesse at times but his pace and enthusiasm always bothered Swansea, who will be relieved that Rangers were not able to get the ball to him more often.
Another on-loan youngster finding his feet in the Championship. Went off with a hamstring injury Rangers are hoping isn’t serious.
Worried Swansea in the first half with a couple of jinking runs and a low shot which was tipped away. Faded after the interval.
Frustrated, but stuck at it and worked hard up front. Went close with a volley and hauled QPR level with a fine header.
Not bad after replacing Amos.
Another very impressive showing as a substitute. Picked up space well, always wanted the ball and was denied a goal by a block at point-blank range before supplying the cross for Hugill’s goal.
Also did very well after coming on. Some great work on the left created the chance for Chair.

Just watched the first 3 minutes of the 13 minute highlights before calling it a day (never done that before!). I agree, we have a long way to go before we can call ourselves a team (not surprising really considering the quantity of ins and outs). Hopefully we will soon gell and start to climb the table otherwise yet another season of staying put and hopefully push on next season beckons.
we must play chair alongside Eze in midfield, and give Hugill some help upfront by playing Wells,the defence has to realise that when we have a corner at the other end it is not a signal for everyone to abandon their defensive duties and finally we can't allow teams to bully us all around the park, the objective should be to be first to the ball on every occasion whatever it takes ,that's exactly what swansea did last night.
I don't know who made the above assessments, but I think they were not watching the same game as me,Lumleys distribution is terrible, cameron couldn't pass water and our midfield was non existent until chair came on.We must stop kidding ourselves that we will do anything but try and survive for yet another season.
