Rangers striker returns to training

DJ Campbell has returned to training following a hamstring injury.

The QPR striker was able to join the rest of the squad on Monday and could be in contention for a first-team place within a fortnight.

Campbell, 30, has been plagued by injury woes since moving to Loftus Road from Blackpool in the summer and has made only two league starts this season.

He suffered a foot injury earlier in the campaign and his more recent problem has kept him out since January.

Meanwhile, Heidar Helguson remains sidelined with an ongoing groin complaint but it is hoped that he too will be able to resume full training soon.
