QPR to assess Cameron hamstring problem

QPR will assess a hamstring injury Geoff Cameron picked up against Aston Villa.

The on-loan Stoke midfielder, 33, limped off midway through the second half of Rangers’ 1-0 win at Loftus Road on Friday evening.

The problem did not appear to be serious and manager Steve McClaren is hopeful Cameron will be available for next Saturday’s game at Blackburn.

“He’s got a little tight hamstring. We hope it’s not too serious,” McClaren said.

Meanwhile, McClaren has described Angel Rangel as “the signing of the season” because of the veteran defender’s performances since arriving at the club.

  • I managed to watch the game last night - can someone explain to me the reason for 'no shinpads' on Grealish? Ref missed a blatant penalty otherwise nice to see Terry looking so happy.
