Jake Bidwell and Jordan Cousins face fitness tests ahead of QPR’s game against Ipswich.

Bidwell went off with a nasty-looking shoulder injury during the 1-1 draw against Derby prior to the international break.

Manager Steve McClaren initially feared it was a serious injury, but Bidwell has since returned to training and hopes to feature in Saturday’s match at Portman Road.

So too Cousins, who limped off during the second half of the Derby game but has also since resumed training.

Meanwhile, a number of Ipswich players have been struggling with illness and will be assessed before their line-up is named.
