QPR confirm move to new facility for club’s youth teams

QPR have confirmed that their youth teams are to leave their Harlington training ground and will instead be based at the Park Club in Acton.

The youngsters will use the facility on East Acton Lane for the rest of the season as well as the 2012/13 campaign.

Rangers believe the move will see their youth system given category-two status as part of a new nationwide structure in which all clubs will have academies graded from one to four.

The school of excelllence currently in place at QPR is the equivalent of a category-three set-up.

The youth teams will continue to play their home matches at Harlington.
