QPR cancel player of the year event

QPR have cancelled their player of the year dinner because so few tickets for the event have been sold.

Many supporters wanted the previously annual dinner to be reintroduced but were put off by the price of tickets.

“We are naturally disappointed that we’ve had to cancel the event,” Rangers chief executive Lee Hoos told the club’s website.

“I have spoken to a lot of fans over the last 18 months about their desire for the event to return, but it seems the price point is still an issue and therefore we’ve been left with little option but to cancel the event.”

  • this is in keeping with this seasons trend of "Stiffing" fans at every turn. The clubs owners have lost a shedful of money because of bad decisions made by previous bad managers and now the fans are being asked to makeup the shortfall,Its Not On Rs,the fans are the one constant irrespective of what happens but don't make the mistake of thinking they can have their pockets picked, the player of the year is the perfect example. £119 for a curry LOL.
