Holloway plans changes at QPR in 2017

Ian Holloway has promised that changes will be made at QPR in 2017.

Rangers ended a troubled year on a high note, winning 2-1 at Wolves courtesy of Pawel Wszolek’s late goal.

It came after a run of six consecutive defeats that had seen Holloway’s side slump to 21st in the Championship table.

And Holloway says the battling qualities Rangers showed at Molineux were a sign of things to come as he looks to revamp his squad during this month’s transfer window.

“For me this is only the start,” the R’s boss declared.

“Six in a row and you get all this nonsense spoken and it is unsettling for your group.

“I have to make some changes and people will leave here. It is all about business.

“It is about getting the right balance and getting people who are hungry and experienced.”

Rangers are next in action on Monday, when they host Ipswich Town.

  • Fair play to the Rs for a battling display but we're still carrying too much dead wood.
