QPR boss eyes new signings

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is hopeful QPR will further add to their squad before Monday’s transfer deadline.

The Dutchman, who has won just one of his 11 matches since taking over as Rangers manager, wants to sign a full-back and at least one striker.

The club have made enquiries about a host of players and are confident more new faces will arrive.

Hasselbaink said: “We are looking. It’s not easy because of the quality we want to bring in and also the personnel that this club deserves. But we are looking and we have got a few targets.”

Rangers brought in two players last week, signing striker Conor Washington and goalkeeper Matt Ingram from Peterborough and Wycombe respectively.
