Morrison agrees personal terms with QPR

QPR have agreed personal terms with Ravel Morrison, who is set to rejoin the club on loan from Lazio with a view to a permanent transfer.

The 23-year-old, who had a spell on loan at Loftus Road in 2014, has been training with Rangers ahead of a potential move.

He is keen to return to England, having failed to make an impact since moving to Italy from West Ham two years ago.

Negotiations with his representatives over personal terms stalled before eventually progressing on Tuesday afternoon as the 11pm transfer deadline drew closer.

Earlier, QPR completed the signing of striker Matt Smith from Fulham.

  • Quite simple really, he's already on a contract with Lazio. He will stay on that contract (wages etc) while on loan at any other club. QPR needed to negotiate how much of his wages they would pay and that is solely between Lazio and QPR, nothing to do with Ravel.

  • I only hope that he has matured both as a player and a person, that being the case he could prove to be areal asset.

  • If he wanted to come I'm sure it would have been done by now. It is a ridiculous distraction on a day Ollie should be looking to get real players over the line.
