Mixed news for QPR ahead of Man Utd clash

Armand Traore has failed to shake off a hamstring problem in time for QPR’s trip to face Manchester United.

Traore hoped to return to action this weekend but is still recovering from the injury he suffered during the recent victory over Liverpool.

But manager Mark Hughes has confirmed that forwards Heidar Helguson and DJ Campbell are in the squad.

Both players returned to action in a midweek reserve game and their availability is a timely boost for Rangers given that Djibril Cisse is suspended, although Helguson is less likely to play than Campbell.

Hughes said: “They’re both in the squad and they’re an option. DJ is probably ahead of Heidar as he’s had more training.”
