QPR trio expected to return after international break

Luke Amos missed most pf last season with a knee injury

QPR boss Mark Warburton says he expects Luke Amos and Grant Hall to be available after the international break.

Hall has missed the past couple of matches, while on-loan Tottenham youngster Amos has been receiving treatment for a hamstring problem.

They are on course to be fit for the game at Hull on 19 October.

So too is on-loan Manchester City midfielder Matt Smith, who was not in the squad for Saturday’s 4-2 win over Blackburn.

Smith missed training this week because of an abscess.

“We’ve got some good players to come back into the squad, like Luke Amos and Matt Smith,” Warburton said.

“Luke should be ready after the international break and Grant should be too. Grant had done very well for us.

“Matty had an abscess on his tooth. It was a nasty one. We’ve all had those things and it’s painful, so he’s had to get over that.

“He missed four or five days (of training) but he’s fine now.”
