Ian Holloway praised Brentford and said QPR must look to follow their lead after losing to them at Griffin Park.
The Rangers manager, whose mother died on Thursday, admitted the 2-1 defeat underlined that his side are still a work in progress.
He said: “Credit to Brentford for the identity they have, wanting to pass the ball – which caused us problems. In the first 15 or 20 minutes we didn’t get that right.
“After that I thought we were better, even after the (first Brentford) goal. It was a ferocious local derby and we were on the wrong end of it.
“We haven’t got our identity yet. We’ve still got to worry about other people too much. But I’m sure it’s coming.
“The young lads I’m giving a chance to are really exciting.”

Holloway has had nearly 2 seasons at the club and still doesn't know our identity,!!! I think that says it all as far as mr Holloway is concerned
