Sandro sent off during QPR Under-23 match

Sandro was sent off while playing for QPR’s development side in a match against Millwall on Monday afternoon.

The Brazilian midfielder, who has not made a league appearance this season, was dismissed for violent conduct following an altercation with Lions teenager Harry Donovan shortly before half-time.

Millwall won 5-1 at Rangers’ Harlington training ground, where Jack Robinson played the first half. Nasser El Khayati and keeper Matt Ingram also featured.

Left-back Robinson is hoping to return to first-team action in the coming weeks following his long-term injury problems.

Olamide Shodipo scored QPR’s goal – a penalty after the winger was fouled in the area.

Shodipo also hit the woodwork, as did Rangers’ former Millwall youngster Millwall youngster Eberechi Eze.

The visitors’ goals were scored by Noah Chesmain, Kris Twardek, Harry Smith, Christian Mbulu and Alfie Pavey.
